THE STORY & DESIGN

Bringing an antiqued, moody aesthetic to an oversized silhouette, this open spiral hoop combines the look of a dark stud with the sweeping curve of a 20mm cartilage ring. Individually hand-forged in recycled sterling silver, the tip is melted into a smooth sphere before the piece is hand-patinated and selectively polished back to highlight the contrast between deep black crevices and bright silver accents.

Designed without fasteners, catches, or hinges, this open contour piece is simple to wear. To fit, thread the open end through your piercing and gently twist the spiral through until the molten silver stud rests flush against the front of your ear hole.
